Linocut print on 8x10 paper
I love browsing through museums' collections. There are so many interesting things to discover. I've spent way too much time down rabbit holes of research after finding something beautiful or weird and wanting to learn more about it. I'd like to give this fascination a new outlet by imagining new artifacts, ranging from the conventional to the impossible. To start things off, here is a mirror inspired by a variety of ancient bronze mirrors and silver metalwork. Across its surface, swans perpetually chase perfection. I’m going to leave these objects’ histories open ended so that their stories can be imagined and coexist, intertwine, and evolve.
